To avoid computer related neck pain, the placement of mouse is done as close as possible to the user.
If your computer screen is setting up at a higher height, then you need to lower the height and also adjust the height of the chair so that the monitor screen is seen straight to your eyes.
 
If you are using a laptop, then you need to maintain proper distance in between the keyboard and the monitor. For this purpose you may use an external mouse and keyboard for your convenience.

If you are having a habit of bending hands, then you have to keep your hand straight condition. In every 20 minutes you need to do proper exercise of your neck as well as your head.
